Lovina - come and watch the Dolphins

Lovina is in the North of Bali, about an three hours drive from the Airport. The drive takes you through the Rice Paddies up the Hills, around the Mount Agung and down to Singaraja. In Singaraja you turn left and drive along the Beach for about five minutes.

It is a small Village with a lot of Restaurants and Entertainment in the evenings, also there are some very nice Resorts around the area with great Spas.

The biggest attraction is the Dolphin watching Trip in the morning, early morning to be exact, it starts from Beach, usually in Front of every Resort just before 6 am, arrangements can be made at the Reception area or with the Boat owners direct.

The Trip takes about 2 1/2 hours and costs between 5 to 10 US$ per person.

After the Sunrise Trip you have time to have Breakfast before you might want to take off on the Boat again and do some snorkeling and Fish Feeding, ask your Boat owner about that Trip, it is great!

I have seen a lot of Dolphins on every Trip, they give you a 95% guarantee that you will see some. I have also been lucky to see a whale and some Turtles, but it was too difficult to take a picture.

I think the most beautiful thing about this Trip is the Sunrise.

And then suddenly these Dolphins appear out of nowhere, looks like a Shark? No it isn't! Usually you can see about 30 Dolphins and they change their path or come very close to your Boat if you are lucky.
