Indonesian Food has become our favorite Food
We go to many different places for Dinners or Lunches, most of them are Warungs (special Balinese Restaurants, where Locals mix with Westerners and enjoy the vast variety of Food). A must for every visitor is the Jimbaran Seafood, check out the King Prawns!!

A visit to Waroeng Kampoeng is a must during your stay in Bali, this Warung is on the way to Nusa Dua - pass McDonalds and KFC towards Nusa Dua and when you see the Petrol station on your right hand side Waroeng Kampoeng is just before it. You have to drive passed it to the next U Turn to get on the other side of the road, the Food is well worth the travelling!! click here to go to Waroeng Kampoeng
A new opening in the Jimbaran area (towards Uluwatu, just before GWK Cultural Park) is Waroeng Rooftop, try their variety of Food at good prices!!

If you are in direction Uluwatu, pass Nirmala Supermarket and you will find this little Gem on the right hand side after a few 100 metres, Sibuni! Means Simple but nice Click here to go to Warung Sibuni
When we have guests from all over the world we first take them to Bali Bistro Cafe, which offers the variety of Indonesian and Balinese Food as well as International Food. We enjoy the location, it is in the middle of a local Market which offers all of what Bali has to offer. Plus there are many little Restaurants spread through the whole Market.So when we have visitors they can stroll through the Market and stop in any place for a Drink when they need a break. We can go with them and help negociate deals or we just wait for them with a nice cool drink. We have been to this area with many people many times but only Bali Bistro Cafe proved to be the same good quality over and over again! This is the main reason we are now going back there all the time. We met Ketut, the chef there and he is really passionate about cooking and can recommend many of the dishes in their menue.
He has been with Bali Bistro Cafe for over four years now and loves his job! He will be more then happy to explain all the ingredients for the special meals. When you arrive in Bali for the first time you will have no idea what to order. There is a dish called Nasi Tumpeng, which gives you a variety of different little tasters (it is Rice with meat, spicy chicken, prawn sate, fried noodles, stewed beef and crackers).This plate would be enough to share between two and get the introducing taste of Indonesian Food. Bill's favorite meal there are the Singapore Noodles (chinese menue)and mine the Sate, the presentation is always amazing and the quality great!
