Most of the beaches are long so great spots for beach walks and with plenty of beach huts or warungs (local restaurants). Some areas have sunbeds and others are deserted. The choice is yours.
Dreamland Beach or New Kuta Beach (Klapa)The most changed beach in Bali at the moment would be Dreamland Beach or New Kuta Beach (or Klapa). It was a famous beach for surfers (a local beach with beach huts and cheap accommodation) Now it is a lot more commercialized and is becoming one of the best entertainment areas in Bali. Nammos BeachThe in place to be at this time of the year is in south Bali, Nammos Beach - part of the Karma Kandara Villas - take the cable car down to the beach and enjoy a quiet day or a great night out - check for the events and parties announced regularly.
Geger Beach (Nusa Dua)In the south east of Bali (Nusa Dua) you have Geger Beach and Nusa Dua Beach. Geger Beach is in front of St. Regis Resort and goes all the way down to the end of the Bukit Peninsula. A great beach for long walks. It is one of our favourite amongst the Bali beaches.
Jimbaran BeachSouth west of Bali is the famous Jimbaran Beach. It is famous because of the many seafood places all along the beach - almost starting after the Airport Ngurah Rai (Denpasar). Here there are three lots of beach huts selling their catch of the day.It is a great place to be for dinner whilst watching the sunset

Sanur BeachNorth east of the airport you will find Sanur Beach. It is a different area compared to the south (Nusa Dua and Jimbaran) and the west (Kuta, Seminyak and Canggu).Sanur has a lot of restaurants and shops to explore and some of the houses are hidden gems. This area was the first to be developed when tourism started in Bali.
